We will walk the route for Historic Staunton Foundation’s Holiday House Tour to discuss the development and architecture of the neighborhood. Touching on topics of Jouett Tapp’s 1813 Map, 19th and 20th century Sanborn Maps, and historical newspaper references, we will tie these topics into today’s rehabilitation of the buildings, yards, and the unrealized potential for neighborhood streets and lighting.
