Free Saturday Guided Walking Tours
Every Saturday from May to October, 10am, and its always FREE!
For over 25 years, Historic Staunton
Foundation has offered free walking tours
of Staunton's nationally renowned historic
architecture. We walk downtown and
through the bordering historic neighborhoods.
As noted by Southern Living:
"Just Stroll down one of Staunton's quaint
streets, and you're bound to see it all -
Federal, Italianate, Greek Revival,
Queen Anne, Colonial Revival -
and the list goes on."

Learn about Staunton's history from our founding in 1732 by Scots-Irish settler John Lewis to our thriving Victorian town.
Tours last approximately 2 hours. All six of Staunton's Historic Districts will be discussed by your volunteer tour guide.
No reservations needed. Come as you are, but we suggest comfortable walking shoes!
Best of all, our tours are always free and casual!

We meet every Saturday at 10am outside the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library, on the porch of the Emily Smith House, 24 N. Coalter Street, Staunton VA 24401
