In Kind Donations

HSF gratefully receives in-kind donations from local businesses ... in particular, we'd appreciate: picture framing, catering, printing, office cleaning, bulk mailing, etc.  If your business would like to donate in this way, please contact the office.  Thank you!

Archive Donations

Do you have old photos or drawings of Staunton?  Old Staunton Maps that you would like to donate? We will gladly accept them for our resource rooms. Or, if you bring them in, we will thankfully scan them for use, and you can take the photos home! 

Volunteer

Depending on your interests, schedule and commitment level, we mostly likely have a niche for you.  We seek volunteers in the following areas:

• Walking Tour Guides (one Saturday tour/year, training provided, interest in history & architecture)

• Front Desk Monitor (3 hour slot, Mon - Fri, interest in art, history & the public)

• Office & Mailing (on-call, interest in helping out)

• Hosting (2-hour slot, Christmas House Tour)

• Resource Room Volunteer (sporadic, interest in scanning old photos)

• Photographer (anytime, interest in documenting Staunton in time)

• Research (anytime, interest in researching neighborhoods & buildings)

• Craftsmen (anytime, interest in demonstrating your trade / skill to homeowners)

Intern

Someone interested in photography and/or deed research preferred.

Our committees are open to all HSF members.  Interested in signing up for one of the following?

Annual Meeting, Christmas House Tour, Development (Fund Raising), Education, Government Policy, Membership, Collins Drawings, or Publicity.
